Used to sample liver, kidney and other soft tissues with minimal trauma. Takes just a small sliver of tissue. Disposable but will withstand boiling. Needle is 'locked' and when released spring loaded cutting needle takes the biopsy. 14g has two stop system and can take either 10mm or 20mm samples.
