Most surgeons now use our sterile procedure packs which include swaged on needle and appropriate crimps. However, if you wish to sterilise your own nylon we offer appropriate needles. Bear in mind that leader line passed through a regular needle creates more damage as it passes through the femoro-fabella ligament. It is this ligament which is relied on for the holding power of the suture. Cruciate needles will pass through a hole created with a 2.7mm bone tunnel borer into the tibial crest.
